Director's Notes:

This show was an experiment for me. I wanted to create something new from an old story that everyone was already familiar with.
​
I chose Pandora's Box because it's a myth that plenty to say about contemporary culture. The actors and I spent more than a month recreating the myth and creating pieces that explored, explained and reacted to this ancient myth.

I Am Only Human: The Pandora's Box Story was an orginal production conceived by the director and the cast that was produced at Gorilla Tango Theater in the summer of 2012. It explored the myth of Pandora's Box and how it relates to the modern world and featured original monolouges, comedic and dramatic sketches, dance, and music woven together to create a unique performance.
