As a director,  Cathy focuses on creating dynamic works of art that focus on the acting and the story  Her background in dance, classical training, and interest in modern and experimental art all influence her work .  Using the simplest sets, lighting and costumes, she uses the resources on hand to create plays that audiences love and actors and designers enjoy beying a part of.
